On January 9th, students from JSHS participated in the 5th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service Youth Summit at SUNY Sullivan.
This annual event empowers Sullivan County youth to lead with excellence and build a "blueprint" for their future based on Dr. King’s values. JSHS is proud to send students to this summit every year to help them grow into dedicated community leaders.
A special thank you goes to Ms. Gueren, Guidance Counselor, for her hard work in organizing the trip and ensuring our students could take part in this meaningful day of service and leadership.
By participating, our students earned community service hours and returned with new ideas to improve our school and community.
