Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,
The Eldred Central School District will be having an Emergency Evacuation Go Home Drill. School Districts in New York State are required to have an evacuation drill at least once a year in accordance with New York State education law (8 NYCRR-155.17(j)). All school districts in the State of New York are required to comply with the Commissioner of Education Regulations.
Each year, an emergency early dismissal drill is staged in the region as part of this program. This year the drill will take place on Friday, October 7, 2022. This is a required 15-minute “go home early” drill.
Students should arrive home approximately 15 minutes before their usual drop off time. Should you have any questions or concerns, you are welcome to call 845-456-1100.
