Not the outcome we hoped for, but these girls left everything they had on the court. 💛🖤 The Lady Yellowjackets played with heart, determination, and pride from start to finish. Sometimes the scoreboard doesn’t show the full story, but their effort, teamwork, and fight never wavered. So proud of the way they represented Eldred and the way they battled until the final buzzer. Tough loss tonight, but nothing to hang our heads about. 💛🖤 Being moved up a class and still making it as far as we did speaks volumes about this team. The boys played with heart, grit, and determination from start to finish. They never gave up, never backed down, and represented Eldred with pride. This season was an accomplishment. History made tonight at The Hive! 🏆💛 Our girls were officially honored as Section IX Champions — and what makes it even more special is that they are the very first team to be awarded the Becky Ahart Championship Trophy for Class D! To forever be the first to receive this trophy in Section IX is something no one can ever take away. These young women have set the standard, raised the bar, and etched their names into school history. Champions on the court. Leaders in our community.
