Eldred Central School District proudly congratulates Athletic Director Amanda Zgrodek on earning the prestigious designation of Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA) from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA).
The Certified Athletic Administrator credential recognizes athletic administrators who have demonstrated exceptional knowledge, leadership, and expertise in the field of interscholastic athletic administration.
To earn this distinguished certification, Ms. Zgrodek successfully completed the NIAAA's certification process, which included a comprehensive evaluation of her educational background, professional experience, leadership contributions, and successful completion of a rigorous written examination.
This national certification places Ms. Zgrodek among an elite group of interscholastic athletic administrators across the country who have achieved this high standard of professional excellence.
The Eldred Central School District congratulates Ms. Zgrodek on this outstanding accomplishment and thanks her for her continued dedication to providing exceptional leadership and opportunities for our student-athletes. Her commitment to excellence reflects the District's mission of fostering success both in the classroom and through athletics.

As we enjoy the rest of the summer, the Parent Empowerment Workshops are in the process of being planned for the upcoming school year. The topics will be expanded to cover an increased range of areas that will assist parents/families. The first workshop to kick off the year will be held on September 23rd, from 5-6pm. Sign in from 4:30-5pm. Sullivan County Public Health will be providing FREE dinner. The coordinator of children and youth with special healthcare needs Rita Burns will be providing a "Listening Session". It entails a small group discussion with community members to identify barriers, needs, and opportunities to shape decisions, actions, and health programming. Listening sessions are a good way for Sullivan County to learn about Eldred communityโs needs and apply them to their children and youth with special health care needs work (CYSHCN). Your voice matters and can have a profound impact on the future of Sullivan County. We hope to see you there!
Four main topics that the listening sessions will touch on, include:
o Vision for the community
o What people need to keep themselves and their family healthy
o Using services in their community
o Participantsโ experience of discrimination, if any, while using services

Chef Ann Cooper, better known as the "Renegade Lunch Lady."
