💚💛 GIRLS VARSITY SOCCER SENIOR NIGHT! 💛💚
The outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, but our Yellowjackets battled until the very end in a hard-fought double-overtime game, falling 1–2. ⚽️
Tonight, we had the opportunity to honor our seniors, who took the field with heart, grit, determination, and so much pride. We are incredibly proud of the way this team continues to compete and represent Eldred!
Congratulations to our seniors, Reece, Adelyn and Kylie! 💚💛 Thank you for your dedication, leadership, and everything you have given to Eldred Girls Soccer. You represented our school with heart and pride tonight!
Once a Yellowjacket, Always a Yellowjacket! 🐝💚💛
October 2026
Dear Parents and Guardians,
This letter is to remind you that an emergency evacuation "go home" drill will take place on Friday, October 9, 2026. This drill is a mandatory requirement under New York State Education Law 8 NYCRR-155.17(j), which mandates that all schools conduct one 15-minute early dismissal drill each academic year. The purpose of this drill is to ensure that our school community is prepared for a real-life emergency that might require an early dismissal.
On October 9, all students will be dismissed 15 minutes earlier than their regular dismissal time. Students who use bus transportation will be dropped off at their designated bus stops approximately 15 minutes earlier than their usual arrival time.
Please make arrangements to be at the bus stop or pick-up location at the adjusted time. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to ensure the safety and preparedness of our students in any emergency.
If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
Sincerely,
Traci Ferreira, Superintendent of Schools

HOMECOMING PARADE AND GAME
Dear Eldred Community,
Eldred Athletics, the Leader in Me Teams, and Eldred Administration have been working together to put together a special Homecoming celebration for our students, athletes, families, and community.
This Friday, we will be kicking off our Homecoming celebration with an in-school Pep Rally for the students and a parade beginning at 4:00 PM near Peck’s and the Town Hall. Our students and athletes will walk up toward the school and take part in the celebration.
For the safety of our students, the road in front of the school from the corner to Steges Road will be closed from approximately 3:30–4:30 PM while the parade is taking place.
Following the parade, we invite everyone to join us for our Yellowjacket Spirit Fest at the school. Our student clubs and classes will have tables where they will be selling food, treats, crafts, and other items. Please consider bringing cash so you can support our students and their organizations.
The evening will conclude with our Homecoming Football Game at 7:00 PM, as our Yellowjackets take on Fallsburg under the lights at The Hive.
We encourage our entire community to come out, line the parade route, cheer on our students and athletes, support our clubs and classes at the Spirit Fest, and stay to cheer on our Yellowjackets!
We are excited to bring our school and community together and celebrate what it means to be a Yellowjacket.
Once a Yellowjacket, Always a Yellowjacket!
Thank you for your continued support of Eldred students and athletics.
Sincerely,
Robert E. Keesler Jr., Principal - Eldred Junior - Senior High School
