Graduation Update:
We are tracking the weather for our Class of 2026 Commencement Ceremony tomorrow evening. I just wanted to provide a quick update and let you know that we are planning for an OUTDOOR Graduation at our stadium for the Class of 2026!
Please note, our Commencement will begin at 6:00 pm. Staff will be assisting with parking upon arrival, and shuttles will be provided if needed for our guests.
We are looking forward to celebrating the Class of 2026!

🚨🏆 Athletic Awards Banquet Update 🏆🚨
Due to the possibility of storms on Wednesday, we will be moving our Athletic Awards Banquet indoors.
🍔 Dinner for athletes and coaches will be available from 4:00–4:30 PM in the cafeteria.
🏅 The Awards Ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM in the gymnasium.
👨👩👧👦 Parents and families are welcome to join us for the awards presentation@5:00 as we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of our student-athletes!

Congratulations to our incredible student athletes who competed this past weekend at the Special Olympics in Goshen!.... A wonderful event filled with experiences that will stay with everyone involved for a lifetime. Our students gave it their all, and we could not be prouder of their hard work and achievements.
A massive thank you goes out to our dedicated coaches and volunteers- Mrs. Elsis, Ms. Morrissey, and Miss Suppa, as well as Ms. Basti for partnering with the Special Olympics Club. Their support and encouragement helped to make this weekend possible.

What an incredible showing by our Yellowjackets at the State Qualifier Meets held at Cornwall and Goshen! Our athletes competed against some of the best in New York State and represented Eldred with pride, determination, and heart.
🥉 Tabitha Smith finished 3rd in Class C Section IX in the Pentathlon after two days of competition! Tabitha delivered multiple personal best performances, including:
🔥 2:54 in the 800m Run
🔥 22' 4.25" in the Shot Put
🔥 4' 5" in the High Jump
🔥 20.3 seconds in the 100m Hurdles
🔥 12' 9" in the Long Jump
Her hard work and dedication throughout the season paid off in a tremendous performance on one of the biggest stages of the year!
💪 Elizabeth Herrmann placed 8th in the Discus, launching a throw of 81' 6" against a talented field of competitors.
💥 Jayden Daletto earned 6th place in the Shot Put with a strong throw of 38' 1", continuing his impressive season.
⬆️ Koen McGill cleared 5' 6" in the High Jump, finishing 18th overall and competing fearlessly against top athletes from across the section.

We are thrilled to have some of our athletes from Eldred participate in the Special Olympics this coming Saturday! This is the 3rd year in a row that Eldred is participating! The event will be held June 6th at Goshen High School. The opening ceremony will be at 9am, qualifying rounds at 9:30, competition at 11am, an awards at 1:15. Come for all or part of the event!

At approximately 10:05 AM today, the Junior-Senior High School initiated a brief lockout protocol. Out of an abundance of caution, and consistent with our safety protocols, the lockout was put into effect immediately once we were alerted to an incident at the Highland Town Hall. The lockout was lifted at approximately 10:35 AM once law enforcement confirmed the area was secure.
Operations continued as normal within the building with absolutely no interruption to the school day. Under a lockout, students and staff remain safely inside the building and no visitors are allowed entry. All exterior doors remained securely locked. At no point were students or staff in direct danger.
The safety and security of our students and staff remains our number one priority. We are incredibly proud of how quickly and professionally our students and staff responded to the protocol today. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation in keeping our school community safe.
