Eldred Central School District will be on a 2 hour delay, Monday, December 11th.
FREE EVENT- This Saturday, December 9th, Main Street in Callicoon will be transformed into a Victorian Winter Wonderland –There will be Carolers, Outdoor Holiday Vendors, live music, and outdoor fire pits until 8pm.
Shops, galleries and restaurants will have Holiday specials. Shopkeepers will be dressed in Victorian costumes. Enjoy street performances by local musicians and theatre groups.
You can dress up as your favorite Dickens character or wear a Victorian costume if you choose.
The Under Your Radar event scheduled for tomorrow evening has been postponed to a later date in the spring. We look forward to finding a date that works to get this important message out to our communities. Thank you.

ECS has partnered with Catholic Charities to bring vape education to the community in the district. They will be setting up a typical teenagers bedroom with vapes throughout the room to see how many adults can pick out. Some are in plain sight and others are slightly hidden. Afterward there will be additional vaping education.

Dear Eldred Community,
On November 28, 2023, we were notified by Sphero, a STEAM company, of a cybersecurity incident involving a former teacher's data from six years ago. This incident did not compromise any of our student or faculty data. The incident occurred around September 2023 and has been reported to the appropriate authorities. While there is currently no evidence of misuse, we believe transparency is crucial.
Our commitment to safeguarding educational data remains unwavering. Our staff is trained in data security, and our systems have multiple layers of control. We've received assurances from Sphero that necessary measures are being taken to address the incident and enhance their security.

If your athlete needs to register for a winter sport here is the link again for Arbiter Sport (formerly Family ID). Tomorrow will be the last day to use the link. If your athlete signed up for a fall sport you still NEED to register for a winter sport. If your athlete is not signed up by tomorrow they will not be able to play on a winter sports team.
